I don't usually build community lots, but I didn't really like any of the bowling alleys in the gallery so made my own. Fairly straightforward building (modeled on the Wakefield Bowladrome* in the Boston suburb I grew up in, a squat rectangular flat-roofed building with an HVAC system on the roof), but whereas the real-world building has 20 lanes and no food/drink facilities other than a couple of vending machines, my Sims version is six lanes and has a "liquor license." Same mid-20th century retro architectural style and open interior layout though. I stuck it in a vacant lot in Brindleton Bay.
*yes, the same one George Clooney and Ben Affleck shot a movie at earlier this year. My hometown has a fun history—we also played host to a goodwill/diplomatic delegation from the Soviet Union at the butt end of the Cold War and someone got the idea to take them candlepin bowling at that same alley!
