Favourite Occult type to Play?

I love love love all my occults (I barely play non-occults anymore). And while I love them all my two vampires have my heart. <3 They're both low maintenance as long as I make sure they don't get silly and go out in the sun. The ability to turn into a bat is way handy too.

especially my love for ghosts kind of gets problematic when game goes erasing them out of existence and even the family trees if i play other household for a while

and aliens are constantly bugged and forced to hide that they exist

spellcasters hardly get to do anything actually evil cause spells last like 5 seconds and especially fire is totally useless in ts4 cause its too tame to really be fatal in any case

and well mermaids are just sort of hard to really play with unless you live next to large body of water and we don't have that in every world

Vampire powers are amazingly fun, and I LOVE that they now have a dark form.

Spellcasters are just fantastic! So many spells and I even kind of like how glitchy Duplicato is!

Mermaids are one I’ve only recently started playing with but their powers are great too! Perhaps a bit useless outside of Sulani, but I have a lot of fun using Siren’s Call and Summon Thunderstorm (especially now we have the fear emotion).

Aliens I like too - I like sneaking around and wiping the memory of anyone that finds out my sim is an alien. I even had an alien who wiped the memory of their lover after they were caught cheating.

Ghosts are possibly the least fun, but fun all the same. I like that they have unique powers based on their death type but I want to see them fleshed out. Possess Sim would be a great addition.

Cool Tip for Aliens. The aestethic of Scientist Career invetions go Well for the designs of Aliens. I always download an upgraded SimRay from the Gallery because they fit so well for Aliens.

Servos/droids

Occults are okay to play, but not as much fun to me as they used to be. A mermaid here, an alien there, haven't even felt the need to buy RoM and haven't touched the vampires in ages. That said, my game is far from realistic with three androids and a human hunting Komorebi spirits in mecha suits in the main save. I just need a break from the fantasy lifestates.

Vampires have been my favorite since I installed the Vampire pack. Even though EA/Maxis has practically nerfed Vampires to oblivion, I still continue to play them. However, I'm seriously considering having them all become Spellcasters. I recently noticed that Vampires get a hidden "Near Unfriendly" moodlet that affects socializing with non-Vampires as soon as it appears. Non-Vampire Sims get the same moodlet whenever a Vampire is around.

I like to play vampire not because it's the most complete occult in TS4, but it's because I already like vampire mythology since I was teenager.

None of them. I used to have spellcasters but now that I know how to reset motives with a cheat, I don't need them. :D
