February Patch Speculation 2018 (Out Now New skintones,new female hair and shirt)

I think we will get cars going back to Sims 2 the roads were technically never drivable all we saw was a car backing up from its drive way into a rabbit hole aka the loading screen if we went somewhere and when they came back all we saw was the car appearing from a rabbit hole into a drive way same thing with a community lot all it did was park by the curve drive to a rabbit hole and I don't know about anyone else but I was fine with it. I personally think Sims 4 roads are drivable in some sections of the game we even got what looks like entry ways to a drive way in the game I just wish we can have an open neighborhood not a world but an open neighborhood but that's probably to much as well.

Actually we got cars in the sims 2 in Sept 2005 with the second EP Nightlife. Only a year after release. Before that we had the illusion of cars with carpools, school buses and taxis. Sims 4 doesn't even have that. I think @Dannydanbo is correct, we may get cars as some sort of object but not as transportation. Look at the boat in BB - totally fake. I don't even consider that a form of transportation since the load screen kicks in when your sim is half way there. So many of the worlds and lots don't have functional roads alongside them for cars to use.

True, now when I think of it it was I that didn't have it for a long time hehe, never bought nightlife but the free time (?) ep finally gave me one! :)

The gurus have said from the beginning that the world map is updatable and expandable after we yelled at them for being so small and lacking. Its basically a cartoon interactive map. They could easily update it so that the places missing roads or transport could have it (like the island on windenberg). In fact if they turned that useless pier there in to a ferry i would be happy because you cant even fish off of it and its such a useless tease

Previous posts about cars got me thinking It would be so cute for toddlers to have those little electric ride cars they could zoom about in the garden and outside the lot.

Wow I completely forgot about cars. I have this theory that they've been releasing a "Nightlife" EP in chunks (Get Together, Bowling, Restaurants, Vampires...). So maybe cars and the attraction system are the last things to check off their list?

I think cars the way they were handled in TS2 would be great in TS4. In lots where sims can't park the car, it would just go in their inventories.
Otherwise, I reaaally hope you guys are right and that there might be a big base game update ahead. Those are seriously the updates I get excited about the most.

In bed animations are another thing that needs to be patched in and an attraction system as well as new relationships in cas.

I'd say Toddlers came out for PARENTHOOD, and was basically the free patch that made sure everybody could buy Parenthood, even if Vampires was technically next. I know this isn't now, but I think weather will be the free patch that makes Seasons work for everybody. I'm not saying it'll be our next patch, I'm just saying it makes sense.

I wish there was something cool coming next month but I think it will be bug fixes because there are to big bugs in parent hood
there's the dish washing bug and in cats and dogs there's the return to lot bug
