Unfortunately, to my knowledge, we don't have any legal recourse. We can't force them to let us (legally) play offline. The only way to play truly offline is to crack the game(which I don't recommend, of course).
Making your grievance known on social media might be slightly more effective than posting it here, but i expect it ultimately still won't have any real effect.
