No matter if I liked or didn't like the objects that came in this pack, it is still DLC for a DLC and it could have easily been included with Cats and Dogs. No way I'm supporting that pack, it doesn't matter if it's 90% off I still won't support something like this.
Agreed. On top of that if you don’t own cats and dogs it is worthless because of all the CAS items that came with it for the cats and dogs. - keekee535 years agoSeasoned Newcomer

The fact that 'My First Pet' isn't winning this poll by a huge margin speaks volumes about the Sims fan base... :| And that's NOT a good thing. It's just more proof that people will buy literally anything EA puts out... and will like it.

^ This is the mindset that's ruining the franchise... EA literally thinks it's perfectly fine to keep releasing these pointless packs because certain players give them the "okay" to do it.
LOL yes - marea_a_moon5 years agoNew SpectatorWhere do i begin? luxury party, perfect patio, romantic garden, backyard stuff, cool kitchen, laundry day, spooky stuff and i think you got the idea lol. I wont buy majority of the stuff packs. I hope i am not making it seem like i dont like any packs at all. I have already talked about the ones i liked in other threads.

or maybe it just means that some people found mfp stuff useful (not me) or there is multiple other packs they also dislike at same level so the vote gets divided
it definitely does not mean everyone who didnt vote it first in this would buy it or like it- atreya335 years agoSeasoned Ace

My vote goes to perfect patio. For my the 'hero object' or gameplay is often the reason why I buy a pack. Ever since the 20th anniversary patch added the only gameplay object of this pack to the base game, the pack has lost its purpose.
Also in general I use little of these gardening packs.
@Atreya33 What do you mean by "the Hero object"?
What did the patch add?
The hero object is the main object/feature to a pack. For stuff packs the main feature is often tied to one object, but not always. For romantic garden it is the wishing well, for cool kitchen it is the ice-cream maker, for luxury party it is the buffet table. It gives you an option you would not have without the pack.
The better stuff packs have more than one unique interaction/gameplay going for them. Kids room has the void critters and the puppet theatre, nifty knitting has the knitting skill and rocking chairs, vintage glamour has the butler NPC but also the vanity table and the globe bar. But perfect patio only had one : the hot tub. The 20th anniversary added a free hot tub for everyone. So at this moment perfect patio is the only stuff pack that offers only 'stuff' and no unique things for your sims to do.
As someone who looks at stuff packs in terms of what new options and interactions are available for my sims, I see this as a reason to nominate perfect patio for this poll. I bought it before the 20th anniversary patch but I would not buy it in its current situation.
I know opinions differ in this matter and some people don't mind patching in the only gameplay feature of a pack. The main argument is that people who bought the pack had exclusive access to the item for a while. But if I had known I was only buying early access then I would have waited until the patch."Lustianicia;c-17608471" wrote:

I feel more ripped off by perfect patio to be honest. Voting for another pack doesn't automatically mean thinking my first pets stuff is a good pack. There are many reasons to vote for another pack and they can also be valid. "Atreya33;c-17609210" wrote:

Thanks for the explanation! I had noticed the "hero" object of a few packs - Kid's Stuff and Cool Kitchen but not all."Lustianicia;c-17608471" wrote:

Reading through the comments, people have expressed that if they could, they would have picked multiple choices. Me included.
I will purchase about 4 of these Stuff Packs, at most.- I like Vintage Glamour only because of butlers. But Luxury Party is like... a joke. CAS and BB feel so empty.
