My butlers, so far, have been nocturnal. It's like they can't function when the family is up and about the house/lot. Also, one never cleaned out the lint trap in the dryer, so I had a fire to contend with right off the bat. Luckily my Sim Dad took it upon himself to extinguish it. Phew, that was close. I've also now got a different butler. I have no clue what happened to the guy, he wasn't old or anything. In other saves I've been notified when the butler departed this simulation and a substitute butler was sent to the lot. This time, no such notification. She's the one who failed to clean out that lint-trap, too. Help, these days!
