Fireworks After Woohoo, Is This New?

I have never had this happen, and I have been playing Sims4 since its release. My couple had a baby, and I decided it was time to work on baby number two. So, I sent them to "try for baby". Cue the romantic music. The couple, safely under the covers, have at it, seemingly in the normal fashion. But what came next, I've never seen before. They got out of bed, and on both sides of the mattress, fireworks went off! Has this effect after woohoo always been in the game? It caught me so off-guard I didn't capture it. That was crazy-insane, but fun.

Has anyone else experienced this or is this new? Or is this couple simply hot-to-trot?

Please share your stories and if you've ever had this happen in your game.

  • Fireworks have been there all along. I wonder if it's tied into the hidden woohoo skill and perhaps the threshhold was lowered in a recent patch or something.

edit: URGH! Didn't check the date of the OP :/
  • Imagine that if we get a vibrating heart bed and the bed jumps up and down moves from right to left and back again.

Someone said that the fireworks meant that the sim was pregnant

It definitely is not an indication of pregnancy. Two men or two women can also get fireworks, without any of them getting pregnant.
  • Fireworks happen in the bed when your sim gets to the highest hidden skill of woohoo. In the tent they happen even if it's the sims first woohoo together.
  • I made a sim that was a serial dater and with each different sim, she experienced a different result but consistent with that sim. For instance, with one she always had fireworks, with the other she had feathers or smoke (not sure which he wasn't around long enough haha), and with another, once in a while a firework spark, but the pillows always flipped. It's been amusing hahahaha!

Edit: the problem is the one I want her to choose, there's but a spark, once, and I am wondering if maybe it is because of his traits. If I change them, will there be a chance for fireworks? Let's be honest, fireworks is a nice thing to have hahahaha. I'll re-edit with the update. SOMEONE must also be wondering. I CANNOT find any info on different sim woohoo reactions and what triggers them.

Edit: Well I haven't changed his traits yet because I do not want to cheat to do it and she is not ready for him to move in. BUT she did have the what I see now are feathers after this friendship bar went up.

Last edit: shortly after above, ehm, they had another result... fireworks!

Last last edit: promise! They ended up having all the 3, fireworks, feathers, and pillows, with hearts of course, and then fell asleep under the sheets!
