First Infant?

This should be the easiest decision for me, yet oddly it’s not! I only play one sims family, so technically I know it will be one of my Holden family members. I’m currently debating the idea of starting over my game with the kids aged down to an infant and toddler, or I could keep going with my current game and wait until it’s a good time for one of the kids to expand the family.

I’m leaning toward continuing with my current game, but it would require great patience as the kids in my sim family are currently teenagers. I’m thinking if I go down this path I could even create a flashback save with the kids aged down to take family pictures to put in my current save. This way I’d be able to get a taste of infant gameplay without spoiling the whole experience.

It would also help if I knew what the upcoming expansion gameplay was going to add. If it’s a family themed pack with elder gameplay, I need to continue to my current game. If it’s focused on younger ages, then re-starting my game isn’t a bad idea. Ahh, I’m so torn :s

My favorite family featured on my signature is due for a baby, as they have a child and toddler already and i would love to explore the new babies with them

Yes, one of my newer favorite families is not so patiently waiting for their infants! :D Lol.

@jpajari Until we know just when to expect the EP, which may be hinted at in the Live Stream, (we never really know), it might not be released right away. It might come out later in the year, even the summer. I think you have time to make a decision. Certainly, we may know more in just one week. Try not to stress over it.

OR, and this just hit me. Start a second save, which will be a restart, then you can get that save to where a baby will be added and keep the older save just in case the EP turns out to be something that includes more for the elderly. Voilà, your bases are now covered.

@GalacticGal Thank you! I think you’re right, and it’s best for me to get two game saves ready. I’ll focus on my current game, but I’ll set up a temporary save for infants :) In that case, Darla and Wade will be the first to experience infants!

P.S. I’m hoping for an EP reveal trailer by late February or early March, let’s cross our fingers!

I have a save where I play all the preemades for one sim week each in rotation. In that save I have about 6 babies at the moment so it will probably be one of them.

My sim Robyn has just graduated university and moved in with her university boyfriend. It probably won't be too long before they are thinking about marriage and kids, so I imagine it will be them. They're adopting a pet first though. Best to start small. :D

Plan to move my uni student in with his spellcaster girlfriend and start a family ASAP.

Nervous Subject (from TS2) is my test sim for every new pack/feature! There is a Mrs. Nervous as well, so they currently have a newborn ready to age up! Can't wait!
