Looks to be scout related.

Honestly it looked pretty cool what little I've played so far at EA Play today. This is by far going to be my favorite Expansion pack. There is just a lot of content

It holds the kids scout badges. I think I heard at ea play that some badges can be earned during a specific season.

Glad to finally see something of the scouting, and I'm a bit surprised that teens can also be scouts. I thought it would just be for children. I hope there are a lot more different scout activities to do. It seems like there is a good range of different traditional boy and girl scout activities, so that'll be nice for my Sims kids.

I'm also glad to see that there is a scout uniform. :)

I am excited about scouts coming to sims. some of my fondest memories as a youth come from scouts. I buying this pack for this alone.

With the whole scouts thing being more than just a rabbit hole, I think them having a camping trip in Granite Falls would be great for those who have Outdoor Retreat! Maybe one of the sim parents would take their kid there so that they can earn the outdoor adventure badge as I think that would be the only way for them to go camping as I doubt they would go with the troupe.

I am curious to see what it all will be like.

I'm shocked that they are not sharing anything about this yet. It looks like such a fun addition!

Oooh, i wonder how scouts would work with the club system. Maybe we could have all the scouts in a club, make the club uniform the scouts outfit and have them go on little field trips together? This looks so fun, i cant wait to learn more

I'm here at EA Play and just got a chance to play the game. The snow wasn't too bad. I started building a snowman and then the mom sim started shoveling the snow that had piled up on the front porch. It's not deep snow but is not a flat re-color or anything but you can make snow angels anywhere and you can see your footprints as well as your breath. You can see mounds of snow in your lot and you can interact with extra features.

Decorated the Christmas tree so there was extra stuff to do like decorate the tree, sing a song, hide presents and you can do it all with your sim family.

Clothing has summer and winter categories! The weather machine gives you options. Changed it to thunderstorms and saw a sim walking with an umbrella and lighting hit them!!! Lol

Didnt play a lot but I can tell its gonna be pretty fun to mess around with the weather.

Edit:

I purposely walked around without an umbrella and sim got soaked. A few minutes later when she came home, she got a negative moodlet from being wet. Didnt check what I could do to remove it. Maybe a shower or change of clothes?

Also the night after I lit up the Christmas Tree, Father Winter came to the house but I didn't interact with him. I didn't look at it too much but at the top left corner, there's an area with activities your aim would like to do for that season? So on my case it said x sim rrally enjoys the Winter Festival and there were other options.

There's a thermostat below the time on the hud that indicates weather temperatures. I didn't try wearing the wrong clothing for the season. So go out in my underwear in the Winter, etc.
