Forever Friends Gameplay and Picture Thread (Ends November 4)

I usually wait a bit to open my save after a patch because I want my mods to be updated and to make sure the new bugs don't mess up my save permanently. And then I don't always want to add in the story element. I had no ghost stories planned when life and death was released. I don't feel like adding a random kid to that household because EA thinks I should do an event with a kid. And sad to say but the dog that was needed for the previous event is now gone. I just prefer sandbox gameplay and that's not what these events are about. Furthermore I still don't like the principle of making these items foreven inaccessible to people who don't finish this one time event. 

Now if these were added as scenarios for simmers to enjoy whenever they wanted, I would probably like them more. I would even want to repeat the blast from the past event. That's the only event I really liked.

Day 1
It was couple days after Akiyamas moved back to Mt.Komorebi,
when they figured they should visit the local shopping street, in search of new toys for the kids.

the street was kind of oddly equipped, mainly, it was strange how there was...adult entertainment right across toy shop...
whoever built that (me) clearly didn't think it through with this layout 😅

but that aside it was rather nice place to do some shopping.

there were plushies galore, most obviously. what even is a toyshop without those

but also latest trend toys like voidcritters seemed to have their place in this store.

it was quite obvious however, which toy taku had his sights on

and Miki did get her simmies collection started as well

and yes, returning home hugs were most definitely in order.

taku was so obsessed with his new friend that he simply had to take it all around the house with him
starting with the living room, that was not spooky at all.

they had great time watching kids channel, mt.komorebi really has the best kids network 

but seeing all the fun toy advertisements taku felt like some play was in order too

this was slightly finicky for watcher but I succeeded eventually
(thats Mar Mar btw, cutest bean. and also don't you worry bout the gentleman passing through, they're just vibing. )

it seemed to be great fun for taku and his new friend too :)

no, Taku did not sleep, instead it was time to wake up his parents for questions. obviously.

luckily they hadn't gone sleep yet so Jenna got to answer his inquiry

I'm not sure she really was on same page though

oh well, we will see what comes of this I guess.

Taku went to the crafting table to make his mysterious plans.

despite how terrifying he looked while at it, seems it was rather sweet plan

after dealing with his humanity

he also got to share the plan with his friend, sounds like lots of fun awaits them for the next week of event :)

I added the magnets board for Takus room too, seems bit odd though with these magnets as they've yet to leave home turf
but we'll see how this continues :)

also uh... isn't Yamachan Mt.Komorebi mascot not San Myshuno?

It was great reading about and seeing the pictures of Taku doing the event with Pixel. Taku is cute! 💗He looks like he had lots of fun doing the event.

(I normally created seperate forum posts for my quests, but I think I'll start sharing it in these types of threads. Consolidation is the best thing and easier come together for stuff like this.)

Lucifer Morningstar returns for his fifth quest. Last time, he learned about the mysteries of nature and met a fairy.

If you didn’t read Reaper’s Rewards, Cozy Celebrations, Blast from the Past, or Nature’s Calling, meet Lucifer Morningstar. Yes, a Sim based off the character behind the television series, “Lucifer”. Lucifer had been living in Newcrest and is about to pursue a new adventure in San Myshuno. Let’s get the story started.

Lucifer now lives in his penthouse located in San Myshuno. It’s above a nightclub he owns that is called LUX.

Lucifer also has a daughter now. Her name is Aurora Morningstar. She goes by Rory for short. Her mother, Detective Chloe Decker, is off on a case in another town currently. Lucifer has to learn to raise his child on his own for the time being.

Rory is demanding her dad buy her a large stuffed animal to have as a friend. So his little angel doesn’t get hot headed, Lucifer buys her one. Rory approves of Pixel, the Friendly Bear.

Pixel tells Rory he wants to watch some cartoons. Lucifer doesn’t want to upset her by telling her that the stuffed bear doesn’t actually talk, so he helps her bring it over to the television and all three watch some Kids Network tv.

After watching some television, Rory tells her dad that Pixel is bored with watching tv and that he wants to play with toys. Lucifer is coming to the conclusion that this is what Rory wants and using the excuse that it’s what the bear is telling her. He digs out an old trunk and puts anything in it that he thinks can be toy worthy and brings it over next to the stuffed bear.

That evening, when it was time for bed, Rory asks her dad to put Pixel at the end of the bed as Pixel wants to keep her safe.

However, Lucifer has trouble sleeping with a stuffed bear at the end of the bed staring back at him.

Hehe good thinking Lucifer 😆 He did well though in being supportive 🙂 The end, I can't blame him. I once had a stuffed animal Owl that I had on my nightstand and yeah. Those big eyes staring back in the middle of the night is creepy😭

It is a cute photo of Rory hugging her new friend, Pixel 💗It is sweet that Pixel is talking to Rory and telling her what he wants to do! 🙂 Rory seems to feel safe with Pixel watching over at the end of the bed whilst she is sleeping although Lucifer is not liking seeing Pixel there!
