Freelance Career - so still no fix?

According to the EA CM posting in the bug thread for it a month ago, they are still working on it:

There was a SimGuru (half) promising to include in future patch notes what bugs are being worked on. The post was made on this forum:

Despite having two forums already for the games, the SimGurus hang out on twitter for some reason EA or their representatives have not clarified.

A suggestion is to remind them there as well, for the coming patch (Snowy Escape).

Just wanted to post here, we did have a fix in todays patch for this issue, please let us know if you continue to see issues after updating.

alas, it doesnt work, my sim chose art as freelance career, and cant finish the assignment on the digital canvas, the digital canvas is droped to the floor just before the painting is done - though my sim did pay 300S for commiting to it - three times! ?

I found that my Freelance person was *finally* able to get paid for the work they do and start a new assignment. I finally got a Freelance sim to have a level 10 career in Freelance (crafter.)

I haven't tried out any of the other Freelance careers however.

I've tried without any mods too and the freelancer career still doesn't work. My sim would drop the tablet to the floor before the work was nearly done. It sucks since the career was one of more interesting ones I wanted to playqa
