I do not find it hard to make money in Sims 4, in fact I have a very hard time playing a homeless or poor sim, you can make thousands in no time. collecting, fishing, painting and the garden brings in so much money it is a crime. My sims do not have careers or work at jobs, and they can be rich in no time, I have to set limits on how they can get money.
I wish it was more like Sims 3, it was harder for a homeless or poor sim to survive.

I might do a collector family -- have the heir get the house and continue the collection. My current Sim is working on gardening, fishing and insects (for the Herbalism skill); his wife is a writer and is pregnant so I'll have a child to carry on the Loves the Outdoors trait and maybe start them on collecting.

Wow, I had never seen this thread before and I didn't know half of these things were even in the game!

I have to confess when I first started the Sims4 Legacy Challenge, I kept the potions I managed to purchase on a shelf. Unfortunately, I managed to scuttle that Legacy attempt beyond any hope of fixing it. So I deleted the file! (I know, I know, we're supposed to roll with the punch.) Long story shorter, about a year later (almost to the day when i posted the new blog) I began anew. Used my same Founder. This time I got more serious with the collecting part of the Challenge. I had the frogs all lined up on the floor in the original Master Bedroom. When another player on this site offered to help fix my roof on my Legacy House, I found I had to save all their collectibles in their inventory in order to switch out the house for the re-roofed version. Since then I haven't put the frogs back into the room. I'm keeping the gems/MySims/etc. in that nice trunk we earned way back when. Interestingly enough, this time I was able to slide the frogs into it, too. I know I tried originally and they wouldn't' go in. I do admire how you've made a room for the collections. Right now, I'm content to have them in the trunk. :)

Thank you. I love the eggs but hate searching for them. If I happen to find all of them on my own that is good but it is nice to know I can get them without jumping through hoops. Thanks again for your effort.
