I think we all have every reason to be concerned about the possibility of "spaghetti code" where the game becomes overloaded and each new pack added causes multiple bugs and performance issues, because it's exactly what we saw at the end of the Sims 3 lifespan. The question is are we approaching that stage now or not?

I don't think we're at that stage yet, I still have Hope however in the span of 8 + years, we've gotten Nifty Knitting, a dust bunny kit, laundry day, Farming, my First Pets, Batuu and Eco Living, we've gotten all these packs over better packs like Werewolves, Fairies, Dragons, Cars, Bands and Generations, I'm sorry but to me in my honest opinion the Sims 4 has been a major disappointment, I'm trying to support you but you're going down a path I can't follow, you may be wondering why I've turned against you, but you have done that yourself.

To be fair least nifty knitting was some kind of skill.

I agree, it has been a disappointment and it is on EA. Comparing what we got in the same amount of time between Sims 4 and Sims 3 is unbelievable. It is supposed to be life simulation game, but Sims 4 has become more of a building and decorating game in my opinion.

I loved playing the different occults. Just because it is life simulation doesn't mean it has to be 100% real life. I like living in an imaginary world sometimes and that is what Sims 3 was able to give us. We had a choice of playing a fully functional occult. I just really hope 5 give us that. I realize it won't be completely fleshed out, just like with all the others, years will go by before packs are out but, I just got to hope it offers more that 4 has in so many years. I cringe when people suggest it will go on for several more years.
