Gameplay Vs Graphics

We all know that an ideal game would include both amazing graphics and in depth, interesting gameplay but which is most important to you? For me gameplay that keeps me interested comes first. I don't care how pretty your game is I won't play it if the story or gameplay doesn't keep my attention. I'm curious to know what is most important feature for everyone else? Gameplay or graphics?
  • Gameplay by a long shot. For some types of games, graphics are important to me (e.g., Skyrim, Witcher), but not so much for simulation and strategy games. I'd still be playing TS2 if I still had functional copies, or if EA would sell it again, even though I think the graphics in TS4 are much better.
  • I dont require AAA graphics in games (there are no games with AAA graphics anymore, in any case) but today, having good graphics or at least tuned up for the game specifically is pretty important. This game without decent graphics will be pretty bad, because one of its main atractions is to see how the sims interact, and their expressions and so on. With bad graphics its way not the same lol not even closer.

Even its gameplay was amazing, it wont matter if graphics are bad.

You can test it, set the graphics detail of the game in low, and see for yourself. Horrendous. I speak for myself when i say that i wont be playing this game if graphics were not decent enough.
