and if you really do have a lot of sims you want to level fame up for, esp just a few points, don't forget that you can very easy cheat them up via shift clicking sims. i've used that to make a handful of townies have some levels of fame (like two of the djs in my game, the 'bigshot' director and a few others). sure it's cheating, but unless you really, really want to play through all of your politicians just to get them one or two points of fame...
Thanks @kalaksed - I hope you are right about only active sim affected. Well, it would be nice if group members could build fame together, but I'll gladly let that go if only active sim decay. And thanks for the cheat info, I'll check it out for later. At the moment I like to explore the game anyway.
