when on site for work in the acting career, i go to get dressed and do my makeup and the makeup chair doesn't work. is anyone else having this issue? i cant edit the work lot, like i can with the other workplaces... my sim sits in the chair and has his makeup done, and he gets dressed on the dressing stand in costume, but the objective never goes away when at work. even if i do the same steps a few times through, i can never get the styling chair to work while on the job. is there a way to edit the workplace like the others? this is getting out of hand, you cant progress through the beginning levels of the acting career, to get promoted. as soon as you leave for the day, your promotion level drops back to the neutral position.

Yes, it happens to me a lot and as @Steviejohn88 said - keep trying until your Sim is happy, mine 'growls' when it's not right. Rather than a bug I think it's part of the game.

My Sim got invited out onto a blind date last night, she accepted and on the loading screen, before the progress bar appeared it crashed.

yeah the crashing is definitely still happening, it did it to me lastnight so i sent the info to playstation. i have every pack they've released, so until they find all the errors in coding, we're gonna be experiencing this. Unless we wanna deal with just the base game. they need patches for almost every pack, and really need to patch get famous. i can't even use it and we just got it.

see thats what i thought... but i redo the same steps over and over and over and over and over and over and over. it produced the same results. it's rather frustrating. the stylist at the end of doing my sims makeup, will throw her hands in the shrugging motion like "Idk".

Does your sim have a relationship with the Lyndsy Smart Speaker? Hope that crashing bug with the smart speaker was fixed before porting over to the consoles. They fixed it on pc. This would cause the game to crash when your sim was invited to a community lot.

i don't use the smart speaker at all. i won't put it in any houses, due to everyones warnings. im not sure if console has fixed the bug, and i don't wanna risk it.

as for the styling chair, no he doesn't look annoyed when the makeup is finished. ive read all the tips and forum notes on this and nothing is happening as it should.
