This is exactly what I thought. If you have someone who hasn't been paying attention to any of the info that's been released, they are going to have some ridiculously high expectations.

I love trailers like this. Definitely a favorite of mine now next to the Seasons one.

I honestly don't see it at being deceptive as it's pretty much a Sims Machinama and there's plenty of games and advertisements that does this. It's so ridiculous I know it's not like that. They already had trailers showing for the gameplay of this pack as well as plenty of other videos from game changers to the gurus showcasing the acting career.

I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more short sim machinama's from Maxis. :tongue:

When you think about it it's probably how it looks to a sim in 'final production' after all the scenes.

Heck it even says at the bottom 'Footage not representative of actual gameplay.'


I don't get what the complaints are about.

It's a cute trailer, but it always bothers me when I see them using effects to show fear on the Sims, knowing that emotion doesn't exist in the game. :/
