Oh yeah god, this is sooo annoying. I thought it was a bug, but it seems to be a ''feature''. My Sim was running a bakery, and above the bakery I made a big kitchen for her to prepare her cakes and baked goods. I also made a baking club and made the kitchen above the bakery their hangout.
When my sim went to the kitchen to bake stuff, all out of the sudden a gathering started. Sims started baking, which I thought was great, but I wasn't even able to sell their baked goods. It's annoying.
Sometimes (well most of the time) I do not want other Sims bother me when I do not want it.
