When you took multiple sims out in 3, even if it was only two, the game would automatically make them a "group". If you disbanded the "group", they'd go home. I found it irritating No, I don't want my sims being a group every time they go out.
Ah, you mean the little blue plumbob turning above their heads? I only find that little icon annoying, for the rest there are no consequences are there? It just makes sure they don't go anywhere during the date (or 'date').
