Interesting. It'll be a while before I try the custom venue features so hopefully this thread will help me avoid some pitfalls.

I don't know whether this would have made a difference for you:

I found that the Host and Guest roles came with activities attached. When I clicked on details, I found them. I couldn't clear them out in the Library, but did later. I cleared them and put in the activities I wanted.

I haven't tried teaching with the whiteboard yet. You're right, you can only have attend lectures, and I don't think the lectures last 3 hours. If your Servo host kept stopping, it might have been because it had hidden activities, as above.

So, I discovered Servos don't have the option to cook on the stove. The option is only available on the refrigerators. They can use any appliance in the game. I created a lot I set up as a residential small business. I wanted to have the servos go there as a getaway for a cooking competition (Man vs Machine). I wouldn't consider this a failure but it's an annoyance. I had to click scroll and click on the refrigerator rather than the stove and the servo wouldn't use the stove at their station. I don't see a bug report for the issue, and I doubt it will get fixed because servos aren't that popular so I'm not going to bother reporting it.
