Gibbi Point World Discussion

The Mineshaft

I am currently building the place my Sims will live in Gibbi Point before they go to camp so I haven't yet explored in live mode. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to explore the Mineshaft?  😊

Although it's not by default, you can easily change it to residential, which is what I'm considering. 

Really like what I’m seeing so far. Sad that jelly junction does not have its own waterfront lot. Without seeing inside the lots, my thoughts right now is to move the current location of the vacation rental to the other empty 40 x 30 lot and then put a community lot in it’s place. Maybe a custom venue that has bowling and arcade games. 

Then I will change the lounge to either a karaoke bar, restaurant or some other custom venue. I really don’t like lounges when I’m not playing with mods as it has too many elders.

I’m curious to know what the 40 x 40 lot type is. I don’t recognize it and I don’t see it mentioned in the blog post. If it’s a community lot then I’ll leave it as is. 

no idea what I’ll do in the 64 x 64 lot. Maybe a campground of some sort. Big lots overwhelmed me.

I can't wait to see what the inside looks like.

I'm kinda sad there is so few waterfronts 
I was hoping for couple small residentials too
but think its mainly those 2 big retreats with actual on water building space 😅
gonna need to make some sacrifices I am afraid

I might be mistaken but is Love Highland a residential property on that map?

The world, what I've seen of it, looks  lovely, can't wait to explore it in game, Would have been nice to have more beach lots. Also, it looks like the lighthouse and fire tower can be visited.

I am pleasantly surprised to see two 64x64 lots. We used to get very few big lots but it seems like the sims team changed their mind about that strategy. (we also got a 64x64 lot in life and death and in enchanted by nature)

Finally two new waterfront lots. If I am not mistaken this is the first time we get new ones since their introduction in island living back in June 2019. I will definitely have sims live in one of those lots.
