It's a bit hard for me to pick just 3 names, but here we go:
Males:
1- Gillian Fiskerton: Pronounced like "Gill", this was the name for my first ever gay merman, and I had a difficult time picking the cheesiest name for a merman until it finally hit me; Fiskerton idk how that happened but I liked how it paired with the name. He's also my current avatar here, though apparently people have told me he looks like Tidus from FFX.
2- Wendell Lengyel: This was actually a townie-generated name, which I had no clue what that originated from and looked up that Lengyel is actually the name of a Hungarian village. I liked how it sounded and based his character around the nationality of his name and gave him a twin brother to boot.
3- Cuzco Perón: One of two in a couple I created as my first playtest run through the jungles of Selvadorada; I was going for a native/indigenous South American name but The Emperor's New Groove came immediately to mind and there was no going back after that!
I don't make as many females as I do males, but I'll try to remember the best 3 female names I've had so far:
Females:
1- Ilima Perón: The second in my couple for my Selvadorada run, being the archaeologist. Granted Ilima is a Hawaiian name but I wanted her name to sound floral and the ilima is the flower of Oahu, plus it really suited well with her.
2- Ilyana Nazdoroviech: A character from an RP I used to do a long time ago, I recreated her as an albino Russian lesbian sim with a military background. Her past is mainly filled with a terrible childhood and upbringing that would be a bit too mature for this forum!
3- Vespa Mellifera: Created as the fierce 'Queen Bee' of my Sims, with a black and yellow color scheme in all her attire. Since she lives in a bee-inspired home and I've made her a beekeeper, her name had to reflect her style; Vespa is a genus of hornets and mellifera is part of the scientific name for a species of honey bee.
