My perfect get away is to go camping in a tent (no RV, no Camp trailer) with tarps hanging off of the trees over the picnic table with campfire going at a campground near a glacial river; where we can put cans of pop or beer cans in the river to chill as an option of a cooler. On the picnic table, my dad would use a camp stove to get his coffee percolator pot going for that first coffee of the morning to start off the day. We can go on daily hikes around the campsite or down the gravel road or do some fishing from the rocks or if there is a small and deep watering hole we can go swimming.

At night time after dinner, we all sit around the roaring campfire having s'mores and star gazing. Also if its raining we would play card games like Crazy 8's or do some coloring in a coloring books at the picnic table underneath tarps to keep off the rain before heading off to our tents for sleep. We don't want to forget getting up in early morning hours of trudging to the bathroom aka outhouse to to the bathroom.
