I am enchanted by birds. A hummingbird used to let me know he was here every year flying close enough to my French doors so I was sure to see him. I was sad when he didn't come this year.
A bluebird has come the last year or two to perch on the handle of those doors. They don't eat from feeders, but do use the birdhouses we have for them. I think he just wants to say hello. He does it for two or three days when he first arrives, then he gets too busy to visit.
