Goal-Oriented Aspiration and After-School Activities

My Sim has just reached level 3 of Drama Club and it didn't count toward the "reach level three of an after-school activity" requirement for the "Goal-Oriented" aspiration. Joining Drama Club in the first place didn't satisfy the earlier "join an after-school activity" requirement; I temporarily switched her to Chess Club and that did satisfy it. Is anyone else having this issue with Drama Club or any other non-HSY-specific activities? Are we just restricted to HSY-specific after-school activities for this aspiration? Or did they just overlook Get Famous when working out cross-pack details?
