My patience with ghosts constantly breaking things and scaring people, and with Sims constantly re-traumatizing themselves every time an urn exists anywhere, has made me become quite ruthless about in-game deaths. As soon as the Reaper is done, I Release the Spirit and then Destroy the Urn. Problem solved.But my button hand wasn't keeping up there for a while when I found out that an Enraged vamp with some parts of autonomy mod working, really can and will go on a killing spree by Drinking Uncontrollably as an act of rage, EVEN WHEN NOT THIRSTY! I could scarcely keep up with him because he was flitting in bat form all over the club, leaving wailing Sims and urns everywhere! Tbh it was more fun than having vamps do nothing, but what a slog getting rid of all those urns, til he cleaned out every mortal in the club. He got rid of my pesky celebrity problem, bonus.

You must be using a mod then, because as far as I know, vampires can't outright kill a Sim even when enraged. Have you considered taking a small break from the game? You know, if the game is really bothering you presently. I know I need my breaks. I think we all do.

Laughing right now, because I just had so much fun due to an autonomy mod but will post about that later (Diego Lobo and Jacques Villareal flew at each other like tomcats in an alley and it was hysterical).. but yes I finally took the mods plunge and am grateful for the opportunity! Still chuckling, seriously. I have the worst sense of humor maybe.As for needing a break, if that's your gentle suggestion that I post too much, cool..I do, sometimes. I love the way people engage here, and find discourse and debate (so long as it's civil and well-intentioned, which it almost always is) refreshing, plus owe a debt of gratitude for people who helped me find solutions to common problems. You, as well.On the other hand, if you worry that maybe there's something wrong with me that I was laughing my plum off at letting an evil vamp off the leash and what that entailed,, rest assured it's not the sign of some mental breakdown :) I'm a pretty happy, stable person who has had plenty of trial-by-fire enough in life, have met death and almost shook hands, that my boat doesn't rock that easily. Maybe that's one reason I love this game.. mayhem in the name of fun that's not real. I have seen real mayhem and tragedy and there is nothing fun or funny about it. So put your mind at peace, I just have a very perverse sense of humor , and tend to see certain aspects of the wild side funny ( I draw the line at even simulated harm to innocents..that will kill my sense of humor really fast). And truly, it's okay, good even, that you were brave enough to express concerns. Speak your truth even if your voice shakes. <3

On that note, should I change my thumbnail? I thought he just looked focused, but someone told me he looks like he's contemplating dastardly deeds. ? That Sim was certainly capable, but who knows when it comes to a double agent? He was one of my faves but if it gives a negative impression...?

@Nushnushganay I meant it as kindly as is possible. I know from my own experience that when things in the game really start to annoy me, it's time to take a breather and focus something else, until I feel inspired again. Otherwise, it's like a downwards spiral and then suddenly something gets deleted or whatever, that I later regret..it's better to stop while I'm fairly clear in my head :#

Anyway, you could try that Life Tragedies mod that GalacticGal was playing with. That sounded very...interesting. I know the car accidents make me laugh out loud.

@Nushnushganay I'm with you on the ghosts. I always release their spirits unless I want to keep them around in which case I add them to the household. Then I either send them to work or they become the maid. Have you heard of Jim Pickens by any chance? He's a sim created by callmekevin on youtube. I'm sure you've seen him. If not please check it out. He's hilarious! A bit demented though

I was a little hesitant to delve into mods because of the potential headaches, but so far, they have been well worth it even if some functions aren't working on some of them. Still worth the fun they add imo.

And thanks for the feedback on the avi, though it's not a "simself" (I have tried and just cannot do those..they creep me out) it's one of my most memorable Sims, and it's really hard to pick one out of so many I like. Rotations, maybe?
