I don’t know if this has ever been mentioned but I found a work around to keep pets from actually running away. It only works if you live in a house with a fence. Lock the front door for “all pets”, lock the gates on the fence for “all pets”. Don’t lock the backdoor. When the pet needs to use the restroom, he will go out the backdoor since it’s the only one not locked. He can’t get out of the yard bc it is fenced in and locked. You will still get notifications that the pet is running away but they never do. Life will resume as normal.
