Goth Family Or Landgraab Family?

I like them both. I tend to make Bella or Nancy my GF and eventually marry one of them. I really don't like Geoffrey tho, aside from the fact that he's good, for some reason I just don't like him. So I kill him in every game, gotta love the death by electric handshake mod. Mortimer is ok, I don't have any real problems with him except for when I'm trying to woo his wife but she always takes the bait so sucks for him.

The Goths are and have always been my favorite family since the very first game! However, the Landgraabs are super fun to play with! Malcolm is a total meanie, but I love his children, Mimi and Dudley, in the console games xD

The landgraabs life in Oasis Springs in one the high-rent areas. Kinda a modern design. Not nearly as cool as the Goth's house. I've always felt kinda sorry for Geoffrey and I've gotten over disliking Nancy, but Malcolm? Ehh, I'm still trying to get over disliking him.

They do live in the only high class neighborhood in OS. But how did they go from living in one of the most beautiful old houses in Sunset Valley in Sims 3 to living in that dump on the hill in Sims 4?

I prefer the Goths. I'll never forgive Malcolm Landgraab for all those times he stole from my friends on Bustin Out when I was a kid :(

The Goths are my favorite. I love how they are very affluent and wealthy and aristocratic but have a shady side to them. To me they remind me of the Bates family from Bates Motel or Psycho. They're mysterious and I love them!!

I think the main inspiration for the Goths is the Addams family.

Mortimer and Bella are pretty close to Gomez and Morticia, considering both their looks, personality and high interest in morbid stuff aswell as involvement with supernatural stuff.

Cassandra's and Alexander's incarnation is pretty close to Wednesday Addams while the child version of Mortimer in The Sims 3 resembles Pugsley Addams in terms of his outfit.

Also, Gomez Addams is known for often kissing his wife on her arm and the goth family album in TS3 features a pic where Mortimer is doing exactly the same thing.

I so miss watching the old Addams Family TV show on TV. It always cracked me up when strangers would come knocking on the Addams door, and be met by the Addams Family's tall ghoulish looking butler Lurch. :)

I vote Goths! Bella's always at my parties and Mortimer's always eyeing my ladies.
I don't consider them 'rivals' because in my games, they're always in different crowds.
