I actually like it as they feel more like actual celebrities and is actually a challenge to get a star and keep, making it more rewarding having to work hard to earn it. That like fame in real life, many people lose it. That was the problem with Sims 3, just doing something one time made you famous so everyone was suddenly famous for no real reason.
