Gross Fan Mail after strangeville mission completion (some spoilers)

The small hick town of Strangerville of people sending you food in the mail and the weather has constantly been HEATWAVE.

I'm feeling like an animal asylum already. Those rotten fish my sim keeps getting are still alive and he puts them all in fishtanks.

Do you think they might have mixed up the Influencer perk with the Fanmail quirk? The latter is supposed to give bad gifts, but the first should get you good presents, I think? (I do have GF, but none of my celebs have those perks/quirks.) Maybe they wanted the aspiration reward to be the same as Influencer, but accidently set it to Fan Mail.

It's like the time I received a tombstone from Santa... Pff. I miss the bowling alleys and stereos in sims 2 after a great date...

When you run into something odd, unusual or that just does not seem right you can go to the Compiled list of reported Gameplay Issues at AnswersHQ to see if it might be a bug.
If you find it on the list go to the first post and click on the "Me Too" button. That helps track the number of people having the same issue.
If you do not see your issue and it keeps happening please follow the troubleshooting tips.

I don't think the rotten fish and the rotten food is a bug.

@pepperjax1230 I agree that it may be working as intended. My Sim has a "Fan Mail" quirk from high level of fame (Get Famous). Just a few minutes ago I looked at the description. It does infer that some fan mail will be erm... less than desirable. :lol:
On the other hand he did get a future cube in the mail just now :smiley:

Mine have gotten that the clay clump rotten fish and rotten cupcakes/food. :joy: Which my question is who sends rotten food through the mail?
