Let me start by saying, this is Sims and I don't want my favorite game to COPY ideas from other games that won't fit. So, I don't know how an End Of The World would work in this game. Would everything look like a bomb went off with destruction all around? Will the only sims be the ones you create because all the others are gone, or will Nancy Landgrabb still be walking through the fallout?
Hunger Games sounds like WA with very linear play to a goal that won't reset after one go.
Travel Back In Time would need one or more worlds to travel back to and I thought adding too many worlds was an issue, so how does traveling back (notice not FORWARD) in time work? In another thread, I suggested bringing back the inventor workshop so our sim could create a time travel device. Then, your sim could go forwards or backwards in time returning in the time appropriate clothes. Maybe they were there long enough to get married and return with a spouse. Or maybe a kid.
So, Sims in Spaaaaace! seemed like the only "logical" choice for me, a huge Star Trek geek. I believe it would offer the most sim-like game play. A sims hood in space. And yes, that dang Nancy Landgrabb would probably show up on the space station too, but at least I can imagine space shuttles the way I imagine cars, boats and planes. And, like in Star Trek, maybe they would add a holodeck where sims could go backward or forward in time without actually going anywhere. And having the gravity shut off due to a malfunction and every sim floats for a bit only to hit the floor when the Maintenancebot restarts the gravity. Floating woohoo!
