If I want to follow somebody on twitter then I add them to the people I follow in my twitter app. Then I get a mail every time they write a new tweet. But can you really do this even without having an account?

There's a group on Twitter for the gurus, anyone without an account can just bookmark that and check it on a regular basis to see everything posted by gurus in one place. Also I'm sure those under 13 lie about their age and sign up anyway, I know they do on facebook.

This shows to me why the gurus prefer to make the polls on Twitter even though SimGuruKate complained that Twitter doesn’t allow more than 4 options in each poll. They just want those very young simmers to participate much more in the polls.
