Has anyone accomplished the Legendary Legacy achievement?

I was looking through those achievements yesterday and saw that, I would be so interested to see if anybody has completed it!

oh that sounds wonderful! I had no idea that was there. Im up to generation 5, so i have a long way to go but what an achievement that would be. ... as long as EA don't fubar it first

I don´t think it is really possible (feasible I must say) I am in 6th generation now in one of my families and I had to turn my life span to "normal", though I used to play with the long one but it was boring and repetitive in TS4 (IMO) and loading screens have become almost 1 minute long plus my "out of the house" family members are populating all the town by now so my sims must befriend and marry fake townies all the time and some houses have become ghost inhabbited so 100 generations OMG I don´t think so!

You could well be right Cherpar, but I have to say this in sims 4 favour, this generation of the game stands a far better chance at getting to 100 generations than previous iterations.

HOWEVER there is a big IF here. The game starts culling once population gets over 180 unless you have a mod that prevents that. So if you don't play with the mod in place, the game is going to cull and forget those earlier generations, and if you do play with the mod in place the file is likely to get so bloated that it will corrupt anyway.

Yeah, the game starts bugging out at about the 6th generation.

It becomes a constant play repair play repair nightmare. Sims can't eat and traveling becomes a nightmare. Sims in the active household disappear when traveling.

If I cheat motives I can get to the 8th generation.

I did get to the 10th generation in one save but I had to delete all the townies and not travel and cheat motives. I even did a clean install and put the save back in and the game still bugged out. Game crashed when the baby aged and is unplayable now even with a clean install without mods.

I just started my 17th game last night because my last save bugged out just after the 3rd generation became a teen.

For this game I am playing a single Sim with mods just to see what happens. He is going to be a player and have tons of babies with the whole town. I am going to play with aging on and see how many kids he can have while holding down a full time job.

Does it say anywhere that we have to properly play through the whole 100 generations?
Because if you really were after that badge, the way to go would be: Move in a sim couple, let them try for baby, once the baby arrives grow it up all the way to YA, then plop in a potential partner from CAS, have them procreate and repeat till done, moving out earlier generations once your sims factory becomes too crowded up. And you´d not even have cheated.

That´s why those badges mean nothing. I realized this when I got the Full Household achievement just for creating 8 sims in CAS and moving them into a lot :(

I'm still on generation 3. I really wanted to wait till GTW comes out before I start letting them age up because the oldest of the third generation are all teenagers and I want them to experience the new jobs before I continue the legacy any further. But I guess I can keep going and see what happens.
