I just move my sims into a new save every 3 generations or so, so the game won't bug out

I'm on gen 12...I will make this achievement one day. I'm rotating though so it takes me a while to complete one gen.

I wonder how long that would actually take, probably a year of pretty much non-stop playing.

Me too! I normally play with aging off and age them up once I'm ready. Once GTW comes out I'll probably turn my aging back on, since I've been playing since September and I'm still only on generation 3.

Im going to try ! i wonder if the family tree will show 100 generations?? But i wish there were special prizes to win, rather then points.

I think the family tree can only show 10 generations max though. :) Yeah, I kinda agree, considering the impossibility of this achievement. :D
