Has "family play" fallen back to the wayside? (Now with New OP)

Although I have played certain challenges, I also enjoy family gameplay with all sorts of sims (including all the occults, and all sorts of relationships). And, even after challenges are done, I usually do an "after" storyline with those sims as well. ; Gameplay, especially with families, keeps me playing TheSims.
