Have 3 sims dance at same time not working help please

So the only event I don't have gold on is house party, and it is because I can't get 3 sims to dance at the same time. I have tried every thing different radios, danced as a group, dance solo, dj boot...

What I like to do is go under Actions and then form a group. Once you make a group you can tell them all to dance together, and voila!
