Have 3 sims dance at same time not working help please

So the only event I don't have gold on is house party, and it is because I can't get 3 sims to dance at the same time. I have tried every thing different radios, danced as a group, dance solo, dj boot...

New patch did not seem to fix this, I'm not seeing much discussion of this on the forums which makes me wonder if it's happening to everyone or only some of us. Can anyone confirm if anyone can complete a social event task that requires x number of sims to perform x action?
