@personman278 I'm not a "gamer" by any means but I've played different games in the past and I guess I just took it for granted that the quality of their product and ensuring that all of the features of a game actually worked was universal. I didn't know that would be optional in the Sims. They may think this stuff doesn't matter because people just keep buying their products but this is my first and last Sims experience. I saw a trailer for Sims 5. Looks so cool but no thanks. I wouldn't play it if they gave it to me free. lol.
