Have you ever overloaded your game with too much CC and mods?

I started a new sims game and re-aranged my mods folder. Right now, about 2gb in size. I usually only use cloth mods mostly. In my previous game my mod folder was 6 gb (including sims, and script mods) and i really dont notice any difference in performance. In fact, now after the patches the performance has decreased, despite me using way less mods than before lol. Honestly the game runs so badly with so many vanilla bugs that these days its hard to tell if any mod is causing problems.
