The cute mystery mod is https://modthesims.info/d/622089/the-selvadoradese-owl-career.html It seems to work fine even though it wasn't updated for the most recent patch (and probably won't be). I've used it every once in a while. It kinda plays out a story like Strangerville but a lil more confined. Very fun and I'd highly reccomend.
I am the same I really hate having a file filled with hundreds of files :# :D I only did it because I thought there was a risk of things not working, good to know its okay to put them in folders, I will do this in future! Thank you I will have a look at playing this Mod. I'm really enjoying playing the 'Life's Drama' Mod
