- You are missing the option for people who choose not to use it for reasons other than "I don't like it" or "I've never heard of it" or "I've never tried it".
I don't use it primarily because I simply don't see a reason in this particular type of game to take the performance hit, but I have used them in other games like the Elder Scrolls rpg's. Despite not using Reshade myself, however, I do like the visuals it gives that I've seen in other users' screenshots. I guess i could vote mixed feelings...just doesn't feel mixed to me. :) "Stormkeep;c-16870869" wrote:

There is an option that says: "I've heard of it, but I never tried it" :)
If you tried it but didnt like it for the performance hit then I feel like that still fits the other option.- SimplyJen7 years agoSeasoned AceI've tried it a few times. It's definitely more stable now vs the first version. However I still prefer to not use it because of the performance hit. FPS issues most of us experience with this game is bad enough. (If you don't have FPS issues, that's great but I'm not here to argue.)
I edit with photoshop instead. - I used to absolutely hate it, but I'm liking it a lot more these days. It was just a matter of finding a good preset and tweaking it ever so slightly to my tastes. I haven't seen a performance hit from it so far, but the main drawback to me is that it affects the UI. That's something that I got used to, though.Spoilerhttps://i.imgur.com/ZfjGiti.jpg

Curious... How does it affect the UI? "SimplyJen;c-16870926" wrote:

Well, it doesn't physically change anything. But since the effects are applied over the entire game they're also applied over the UI. Changing the brightness/contrast/saturation etc of the UI makes it look weird and can make it difficult to read or see things sometimes.- Breazona7 years agoSeasoned AceI want to try it, but the performance hit makes me wary of it, even if it isn't much. I kinda feel like I'm missing out!

Oh yeah I forgot it does that since Reshade is an overlay."SimplyJen;c-16870926" wrote:

You may lose a couple of frames which isn't much to some people or enough to notice...

If you don't have a strong enough dedicated card, I don't reccomend using Reshade. Performance will be even worse. - Never heard if reshade before. Does it basically do the same thing as the NoBlu mod by Luumia Sims? Or are there more benefits to reshade?
