Influence the Baby's Gender
A patch made it so that we can influence the gender of babies, so we can make the chance large that a baby girl or boy is born:
To have a baby boy: Eat carrots and listen to alternative music on the radio.
To have a baby girl: Eat strawberries and listen to pop music on the radio.
Doing both of these things during your pregnancy will increase your odds of having a boy or girl.
I FOUND THIS ON Carl's sims 4 guide
It worked to get a girl and I am going to try it for a boy
I've had it work for boys, no problem. I just make sure the expectant mother starts eating carrots after they try for baby. I do what I did in Sims3, for insurance. Three a day for the first two days. - itsug10 years agoSeasoned AceI have yet to try eating strawberries and listening to alternative music, or eat carrots and listen to pop, to see which weighs more, food or music :D

Strawberries and pop music for girls.
IF you don't play with MCCC. If you do, none of that "choice of gender" stuff matters, it's all mod-managed.
So you're saying that having MC installed, you can no longer sway the gender by eating strawberries or carrots, or listening to pop or alternative music? - egwarhammer10 years agoSeasoned Ace

Right. Food/music don't matter if you play with MC. Totally under MC's control, which actually puts YOU in the driver's seat.
A little more detail...
MC has options to choose or change the number of babies, the gender(s), the trimester, and more. You can change pregnancy lengths... or you can go straight from barely pregnant to labor if you want. You can set a limit on how many babies to have at once, up to 6. (3 is default, mine is on 2.)
You can also use MC to start pregnancies for other sims, either by flagging them to be included in the next Pregnancy alarm, or you can start a pregnancy for them with your sim, or, you can just Start Pregnancy on them, and they'll have a "miracle" baby. - One sim gave birth to two boys now and then her roommate gave birth to ... a boy. *Sigh* so much for them growing up and marrying one another and giving birth to babies of their own. Unless I make her have another but I don't know if I want to deal with that many kids running around lol.
- yes it is possible to increase baby's sex. perefence , have mom eat strawberries and listen to pop music for girls. have mom eat carrots and listen to alternative music for boys. So far this has never failed me.
- Is there a way to guarantee twins without the ley line trait??
- GalacticGal9 years agoLegendI have MCC Center, but I haven't yet figured out how to set things for pregnancy. I have had two sets of triplets and a set of twins in the same game save, however. I promptly stopped giving my pixilated mother-to-be three of the desired food stuffs for the first two days. Not sure if it has suddenly gone kablewy or not? Or, if the percentage for multiples just hit. :open_mouth: Anymore, I take the Sim into CAS and add the desired family member. LOL
