Having Sims Based On TV Shows Or Franchises

I have two characters from That '70s Show roaming around in my main save. It makes no sense, but I hardly ever see them anyway (they're just homeless townies). I made Hyde because I love him, and had plans to do the whole gang and even try to build the Forman house, but I'm too lazy (being a perfectionist, it would take forever). The other guy is David Milbank, a one-off character from a season 1 episode. I only made him because the actor (Scott Whyte) is one of the Sim voices, so he could even have his actual voice.

Lately I've been thinking of making Isabelle and her brother from Animal Crossing, as I can't play the game myself. I don't have a switch. I don't know yet.

ugh I wish I still had the pictures. I checked and even the thread about them the pictures are gone but I played Lucy and Ricky Ricardo in San Myshuno and even transformed their apartment to look like the one on TV. Of course, I had Ethel and Fred living across the hall. Ricky was in the entertainment career and Lucy would just get into shenanigans with Ethel. It was so much fun. Once Ricky and Lucy died of old age, I played Little Ricky for a while into his young adulthood but I lost some interest.

Ok...this must be the weirdest household consisting of fictional characters I've ever put into my game. It's a household of 8 consisting of Peter Griffin, Harry Potter, Carl Wheezer, Robbie Rotten, Sonic (as a dog), Baldi, Sans and a random teen girl I've found on the gallery. I don't intent to play them, I just wanted more weirdness in my game. Why these characters specifically? I don't know, I've just looked at too many memes during quarantine I guess. The household name is literally just "meme".

Typically, it is something I avoid. If any Sim is based on a living person, I use a different name (either randomized; or if ther , and base it on appearance only. The game and real life I try to keep completely seperate.

I have used this depiction of Amy Fleming from the TV Series Heartland for quite some time. It isn't my creation. The reason I downloaded her is that I could never get her appearance right.

As the series is now in its twelfth season, and her actress is nearly 32, I chose to age her up into an adult (the gallery depiction was based on the early seasons of the show, and she was a teen). While MCCC did load the original version as a townie; in this save, she is a bit different character with brown hair, and traits/behavior loosely based on a role she played in some pretty bad (I actually watched it) B-Movie on the Syfy channel a few years ago; a combat medic by the name of Nicole, who in my depiction, is a bit tougher and braver than Amy. If we do eventually get a horse pack, it will probably be her Sim that I use to try it out.

I use characters from the Original Star Trek, also known as TOS in Trekkie Circles. I'd post images, but my Browser is not allowing me to call up certain sites. They keep timing-out. Face/palm. Perhaps, this is only temporary? I know many people are home using their computers but still. This is the first day I haven't been able to access a few thing. Yikes.

I always create sims based on TV show characters! They always end up very different compared to their TV show prototypes though. I had a Buffy save, a DC save and currently I'm playing in a Marvel save which will transform to another TV show as soon as gen 3 is born (I'm nowhere near that point but I'm already planning LOL). It's just a very easy and simple way to get unique-looking sims with interesting stories so why not do it? ;)

yup, I often muck about with tv or movie characters. I did do an x-men family coz I really wanted to build the mansion....took me forever to work out how to get the floating platform done in Cerebro!

Omg! I used to be absolutely obsessed with Riverdale (don't ask why haha) and I really wanted a Sim version of Jughead to play with. I was too lazy to make him from scratch myself, so I found one on the gallery, tweaked him, and brought him to life. Oddly enough, with no intervention on my part, my sim, Rose, invited him over from school on his first day and he started flirting with her the second he stepped on the welcome mat!
