Heartbreaking music

Has anyone noticed how fantastic the orchestral soundtrack of ROM is? I was absolutely enchanted when I opened the spellbook for the first time, and I was in tears when I heard this in CAS:

This is a very climax of the whole series and one of the most melancholic pieces I have ever heard in videogaming. Thanks and kudos to the composer.

    Gets you into the mood of potion making and spells right? The Occult packs and Strangerville always seem to have the best build mode music imo.

    Fantastic music! Thank you for sharing! I don't find it heartbreaking, but it is transporting. Pity books don't have sound tracks, I know of a couple it would be great for. Be nice if the audio file/mp3 was available.

    Same goes for the Vampire track. A challenge to EA: build games as great as the music!

    Have just listened to it yet again (have the topic bookmarked) and find it enthralling as ever! Just the thing for visualizing a pair of regular folks suddenly finding themselves in a magical land and having amazing adventures in it. Perhaps the title should be 'Spellbindng Music', because that's what it is for me.
