Just in case you don't know... You don't have to unistall and install your game to start over vanilla. Just delete the mods folder and local thumbnails cache file in your The Sims 4 folder and maybe start with new game when launching? Or then delete The Sims 4 folder in documents and start the game, fresh start!

I think something is going on. I tried to repair my game and it failed. I am installing the basegame now. Thanks for the heads up that maybe the next parts might not work right away. They always fix things like this quickly. I often have shortterm problems with the app. I take it in stride.

UPDATE: I got stuck on Carnival Streetware again. This time I just canceled that one pack and I am continuing with the rest.

Yeah, I think I there is small error their end. My repair game kept failing also. Certain packs would get stuck at 14%

Thanks for the warning and tips! Might soon be getting a laptop for school and was considering putting Sims on it for break time.
