With a dramatic ending where he either dies or has to go to prison, or slightly less dramatic, he gets kicked out of uni (in that scenario their relationshipwould end during uni).
Then the other two boys (or by then, men) both put in effort to help her pick up the pieces - who she'll end up with would depend on how the story develops.
