Update: Kylie's moodlets came back. At first she was a combo of a light "tense" (specifically wonderful whims related) and playful. This was after I sent her to the bathroom for attending to needs and a bubble bath. Later, she developed a "feverish" moodlet, such as Sims get when they are sick. This is uncomfortable
Meanwhile, Joshua also developed an "uncomfortable" mood despite only having positive moodlets.
And the icons for tutoring Kylie with her homework were missing on both ends. Replaced with the llama pic.
Overall, I have sent them to bed (where I usually save between sessions) and think it must be time for a delete cache and repair game.
