I hear you about the bugs, gah! I deleted every single one of my saves and started with a brand new clean slate, again. I had so many sims that I had had for ages and just wanted to get rid of all the bugs and glitches that had accumulated in these saves.
I will be watching for the updates, and pictures! :)

I've been wondering about starting over as well. I am wondering if I might have to build my main save over again.
I may simply play through it anyway and save the next generation of sims to my library and start anew at that point.
I have been noticing a lot of things simply not working, like my High Maintenance sim getting negative moodlets for not admiring her new stuff, but I never have any object interactions that allow her to admire her new stuff. I was constantly getting sims just walking into apartments and homes. I just moved to a new lot and it doesn't seem to be a problem there.
Also, I had another problem that almost made me shelve the game. I was getting very bad lag.
The game was down to 18 to 25 frames per second. Ridiculous for my computer. The problem was I had
Uncompressed Sim Textures toggled on. Turning it off fixed that. I am now at a silky 90 to 140 FPS. But that doesn't fix going into Build/Buy.
