High School Years has kind of thrown a monkey wrench into my plans. Regular high school was already a problem.
I had a mod that would allow them to come back to the castle from "Muggle Studies" early and would have them do homework in a class room and pretend they where engaged in magical studies.
High School Years is so muggle-centric, I think I would have a hard time pretending it's not.
But I will experiment with making it fit with Hogwarts, the extra time in the morning and after lunch could be dedicated magic practice and get me back some hours that are normally spent in the school rabbit hole.
I need a home-schooling mod really, but I don't want to use mods at all.
I don't want my play to be interrupted with every patch, nor dependent on someone updating it.
So much for finally getting to play all of this.
I think I will have to do another trial run. :p
I can always just have them go to the rabbit hole and play as I initially planned.
Technology is going to be certainly in my face though with them constantly checking their smart phones.
I HATE the way they are always on their phones. But I've hated that forever about Sims 4. There really OUGHT to be an option for go tech free or tech light.
I'll be very interested to follow your experiment with the High School Years expac. I don't think I'm going to buy it just yet unless it goes on mad sale for Black Friday.
