Hmmm... High School is on sale for 10 dollars off for Black Friday until Dec. 7th. I'm not sure that's enough! LOL But I'll think about it and maybe watch some gameplay vids.
The best thing I can say about High School Years is that it fleshed out the teen life stage.
Oddly, the High School portion was the least enjoyable part for me until I got a mod that allowed me to choose what other students showed up at the school. I also had to create my own school because the default school is dreary and boring with a poor layout.
The best part for me was the new social app, (although it to gets boring after while, but it lets me organize the sims most important to my sim)
Trendi App, the game streaming computer, and all the build/buy and CAS content. I also liked the TrifTea Boba tea shop as a hangout for my teens. Classes are boring, but I do like the free time before classes and during lunch break to social, work on skills, or aspirations and wants.
The school events are a bit of a let down. Prom would be interesting if you actually had more time to enjoy it.
